Battle
Your next Squad in battle
The characters you see in the pre-battle view are the characters you can unlock in chests in your next game.
How is this deck made?
- Characters are randomly chosen from all characters, not just the characters you have unlocked.
- There are always 5 commons, 5 rares, and 5 epics.
How it works in Squad Adventure
- Everyone has a different deck.
- The deck changes every game.
How it works in Squad League
- The deck is the same as all other players.
- The deck changes every hour.
Replace your Squad during a battle
It is important to replace your Squad well during a battle to maximize your chances of victory.
Note: Against a bot, this technique is useless because often, it does not defend itself.
In battle, you should always reposition yourself to stay on the side compared to the opponent's squad.
The goal of moving and staying on the side is to keep the opponent's focus constantly on your tanks and therefore, leave the units with less life (healers, dps) behind the tanks. This allows your units to stay alive longer and therefore do more damage.
In Squad Busters, we can find 3 main families of characters:
- Tank: These are the characters with the most HP and can take a lot of damage.
- DPS: These are the characters that deal the most damage. They are often much more fragile than tanks.
- Support: These are the characters that have a different utility than dealing damage or taking damage. Their roles are varied. Characters that heal or farm, for example, can be considered as support.
Here is a diagram to help you place your Squad correctly:

Boost Usage
In battle, the boost is the blue button at the bottom right of the screen.
The boost discharges when you use it and recharges when you don't use it.
The boosts you collect last the entire game, so collect as many as possible.
Note: A boost lasts 1.8 seconds and takes 2.7 seconds to recharge.
How to get it?
- You can get them in blue boxes. Indeed, they always contain a boost.
- The Chicken will give you 2 or 3 boosts depending on its evolution.
How to use it?
- Use the boost to speed up the movement speed of your Squad. It is multiplied by 2 approximately.
- Use the boost to slightly speed up the attack speed of your troops.

In Squad League, you can win trophies by finishing in the top 5.

The different stages of the game
A game of Squad Busters lasts 4 minutes. It is divided into several stages.
How is a game divided?
- Chests are common the first 2 minutes, rare the 3rd minute, and epic the last minute.
- The key bag unlocks after the 1st minute.
- Monsters give more gems the further you advance in the game.
- Monsters respawn on average every 30 seconds, as do trees/carrots/tanks/hives.
- When there is only one minute left, the big monsters respawn in the center and they give more loot.
How to organize your game?
- The preparation phase: This phase lasts about 2-3 minutes. During this phase, you should try to maximize the size of your Squad. There are two types of early game:
- If you have farm characters, try to collect as much loot as possible to grow your Squad as much as possible.
- Otherwise, try to take the center as quickly as possible and kill as many big monsters as possible to collect a lot of loot and grow your Squad.
- The combat phase: This phase lasts about 1 minute. During this phase, you should try to control the middle while remaining vigilant and not taking too many risks.
- The end game phase: During the last 15-30 seconds, there are two solutions:
- If you are well placed, try to stay alive and not take risks.
- If you are poorly placed, try to take risks by attacking a Squad, for example by last or in the middle of another fight, to try to move up in the rankings.
Note: Be careful, this is not an absolute truth, it depends on your style of play, the course of the game, the game mode, and other random events that may occur in the game.
Master spells
There are two types of spells:
- Normal spells: recognizable with a gray star.
- Character-specific spells: recognizable with a yellow star.
How to get them?
- Normal spells are obtained through the Wizard's challenges.
- Character-specific spells are obtained by evolving certain characters (Witch, Royal King, etc).
How to get them in game?
- Normal spells can be obtained in herbs, in boxes, and on some monsters. The wizard also gives a spell and allows you to store an extra spell (2 in total).
- Character-specific spells are obtained by taking a character in a chest that can give you a spell (if it has the necessary evolution).
How to use them?
- For spells that are cast (bomb, lightning, etc), use the spell joystick to aim and release to cast it.
- For spells that are used, simply press the spell button to use it.
Some tips:
- Do not hesitate to cancel your spell. To do this, simply slide your finger to the end of the screen to the left or right.
- When you have the wizard, you can store 2 spells, the main spell (the one you can use right away) and the secondary spell, in reserve. To switch spells, simply press the secondary spell, which will switch it and position it as the main spell.
- Use the bomb spell to destroy trees and carrots when you don't have Greg or Mavis.
